We’ve been working on understanding and correctly using words that are easily confused. Pick a word from two separate word sets on your "Words to Remember" sheet (which is on my website) and use both of them in one strong, complete sentence.  For example: I might pick "than" and "a lot."  Be sure you’re using the words correctly; be sure your sentences are complete and correct.  My sentence might be: I like it a lot when I read more than a chapter from my fantastic, fiction book each night.

You each have strengths in language arts. Think about yours in the reading of “Playing the Game” and writing your summary (both parts—the drafting and the final, typed, “published” version). Where did you excel? Where would you like more review? What did you enjoy (or not) about the writing process (brainstorming, drafting, reviewing/revising, editing, publishing)?
