Early in our research unit, you watched a video about creating in-text citations. You also received a sheet explaining how to create a Works Cited page. Did you remember or forget in-text citations? What were your tricks for creating the entries on the Works Cited page at the end of your research? Be sure you've checked your answer for proper spelling, grammar, and complete sentences.

Please pay attention: You must answer all three parts of this question to get full credit. Will you research a college or a career for your research unit? Would you prefer to create a paper, a PowerPoint, a poster with a photo collage, or some other final project? How comfortable are you with understanding citations for both direct quotations and paraphrases (where you put information in your own words)? Be sure you've checked your answer for proper spelling and grammar.

When you take a test in language arts, what strategy (or strategies) do you use to check your work? Be sure you write in complete sentences. Reference the first benchmark. Double-check your writing for focus, “I,” and homophones (the confusables you have in your binders).
