Work Submission Policy
This Work Submission policy is valid for all Related Arts students at Marsteller Middle School.
Students are assigned work in class and/or as homework with a due date for each assignment. The Related Arts teachers allow ample time to complete the assignments prior to the due date for submission. Because of the structure of the related arts classes, and for most related arts assignments, it is not possible to submit work after a unit is completed. All work is due to the teacher by the assigned due date.
Work that cannot be completed by the assigned date (for what ever reason) will be due 5 days prior to the end of the unit/program/lab/project.
If a student has not submitted the work five days prior to the end of the unit/program/lab/project, the teacher will email the parent to let them know that the work has not been submitted.
The student will then have five days to complete and submit the work. Otherwise, all grades will close out not less than one day prior to the end of the marking period.
Please note: All work assigned within five days of completion of a unit/program/lab/project is due on the assigned date.
