Steps to Success!

Prompt: Arrive to class on time, be in your seat, ready to learn.

Prepared: Bring required materials, complete classwork, projects and homework.  Review daily notes and assignments for quizzes and test.

Participation: Be involved in group activities and discussions.

Politeness: Treat fellow students and instructor with respect.  Be aware of others’ right to learn, think and question.

Perseverance: Work hard and keep trying. 

Learning Activities

You will be involved in a complete, in depth, coverage of syllabus objectives.  Daily reviews, lectures with note taking, vocabulary, class and students directed discussion, cooperative group activities, independent work, written work including spelling & grammar, homework and projects.

  • Students are required to use a 1½  Inch three ring binder to hold notes, homework and completed assignments. This binder will be your student’s main study guide for the class and should be extremely useful for completing homework and studying for tests.
  • 10 tab Dividers
  • Pencils and pens (blue and black pens only please)
  • Lined Paper (College ruled)
  • Colored Pencils
  • Glue Sticks (You will need to have one for class every day)
