Virtual Creative Writing: Everything you need is now in the Virtual Creative Writing folder on my teacher page
- Option 1: Continue working through the Heroes and Villains project. At this point, you should be starting the Hero’s Journey part of the posted PowerPoint. I will be sending an updated calendar to space out the project over the next 9 weeks.
- Option 2: Mini- Writing assignments. There will be 9 mini- writing assignments that you can complete. None of these assignments require the internet to complete. The introduction to the topic and the prompt are in one document.
Virtual Career Investigations: Everything you need is now in the Virtual Career Investigations folder on my teacher page.
Career investigations students will be building on their prior knowledge of the 16 career clusters to explore deeper into their desired cluster.
Week 1 (April 14 -17)
- Be sure to watch all of the videos in the “Marketing” folder (save SHARK TANK video for last!!)
- After you have watched the videos, click on Shark Tank Business Plan assignment. (You will notice we are blending the following career clusters: Manufacturing, Business/Marketing, Human Services, and Finance.)
Week 2 (April 20-24)
- Click on Virtual Career Investigations folder and click on Week 2 (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- Click on the Mars Colony PDF...Read through all of the slides!
- The last 3 slides has your assignment.
- I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!
Weeks 3 & 4 (Next TWO weeks! - April 27 - May 8)
- Click on Virtual Career Investigations folder and click on Weeks 3 & 4 (Transportation, Distribution and Logistics)
- Click on the Assignment PDF
- Complete all sections of the assignment. THIS WILL TAKE YOU TIME!
Week 5 (May 11 to May 15)
- Click on Virtual Career Investigations folder and click on Week 5.
- Complete your Educational Journey Road Map.
Week 6 (May 18 to May 22)
- Click on Virtual Career Investigations folder and click on Week 6.
- Complete SMART Goals for the future.
Week 7 and 8 (May 25 to June 5)
- Click on Virtual Career Investigations folder and click on Week 7 and 8.
- Complete your College and Career Project (you will need PowerPoint)
