I have been teaching Art at Marsteller Middle School for twenty-two years. In my Art classes students are exposed to drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture. I also sponsor an after school Art Club which allows students more in-depth instruction within the Visual Arts.
I graduated from Longwood College (now University) with a B.F.A. in Studio Art and then George Washington University with a Masters of Education.
I have been employed as a graphic designer, artist and visual specialist/merchandiser. I have won awards for both drawing and photography.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time riding and showing my horses, creating with clay, and cheering on the New York Giants! (Yes, I am a Jersey girl!).
