Mission

To provide students with opportunities to explore in-depth mathematical and scientific concepts and principles in an enriching program of study while further developing their critical thinking skills.

Program Features

• Enriching STEM learning in the Science Enrichment class.
• Students are placed in math class according to readiness.
• Family nights are offered throughout the year.
• Any student who has an interest in math and science may apply. 
• Students who do not fall into Marsteller's base school boundaries will apply as a transfer student to be entered into a lottery.
• Once accepted into the program, students will be expected to meet Marsteller program requirements throughout the year:  Students are expected to maintain at least a B in Math and Science and Cs in all other classes. Additionally students are required to maintain satisfactory conduct, effort and attendance (according to PWCS regulations)

Who can apply?

Applications for this program are open for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

When to apply?

Specialty program applications will be accepted November 1, 2023 - February 1, 2024.

School-Based Information Sessions

• October 30th at 6:30 p.m. in Marsteller's Bull Dog Hall. A Spanish interpreter will be available on-site.
• January 9th at 6:00 p.m. in Marsteller's Bull Dog Hall. A Spanish interpreter will be available on-site.
• (January 14th snow date at 6:00 p.m. ) Event will happen on this date if the January 9th event  is canceled.
